Desktop Support Technician

eHarmony is looking for a bright, self-motivated professional to become a part of our team. This individual will be responsible for the administration of desktops and laptops running Windows and MacOS. This position requires a patient individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without compromising customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to service requests generated in our internal ticketing system.
  • Provision and deploy desktops and laptops using Ghost and other rapid-deployment systems.
  • Administer Active Directory user accounts and Exchange mailboxes.
  • Work with manufacturers to repair and/or replace equipment as necessary.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, PDA’s and other hardware and software.
  • Provide user support and training when necessary including by phone.
  • Manage computer hardware assets and the appropriate disposal of e-waste.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Windows desktops and client hardware and software in an Active Directory environment and providing customer support in a technical capacity
  • A working knowledge of Ghost and Sysprep.
  • Exchange 2007/Powershell experience.
  • Familiar with solutions used for eDiscovery.
  • Experience supporting BES and mobile devices using ActiveSync.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational attributes.
  • OS X experience (preferred)
