We are a Hot Internet Startup in Irvine, California looking for a Silverlight UI designer to join us on an EQUITY basis (i.e. no salary yet, but stock options; interns ok too)
Are you interested in designing a revolutionary graphical web interface for a groundbreaking Silverlight application? We’re an up and coming Software as a Service (SaaS) company. We’re looking for an intelligent and creative person to help us envision and design an amazingly cool interactive user interface.
The person we’re looking for has:
• Experience in Web Page, Graphic, and/or Software UI design
• An eye for modern design, flow and detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with MS Expression Suite and/or other graphics tools
• Willingness to learn Silverlight technologies, especially Expression Blend
• Patience, good work ethic, and a desire to complete projects
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and C#, a plus
The primary responsibilities are:
• Work with the Development Team to develop UI concepts and navigation flow
• Contribute to the UI look, feel, and interaction
• Draft mockups of the new user interface across multiple states for key components
• Design prototypes illustrating key UI interactions using Blend
• Evolve the design iteratively to create an immersive visual experience for the user
• Develop graphics where necessary using Adobe, MS, or other software
