Software Engineer – Social Games

Job Description
Our client is a leading online social application and games developer. You must have strong Object Oriented Programming skills with PHP. You will work with a dynamic, fast-moving team that is creative, entrepreneurial and focused on delivering great social gaming experiences. Experience working at an online gaming company is not required but you should be familiar with social and casual games.

Responsibilities:
• Build out the next set of amazing social applications and games
• Develop, test and implement clear, maintainable, portable code
• Be part of a collaborative, small, fast-paced agile product team with quick iterations
• Report to the CTO; work directly with the CEO, other engineers, and management

Requirements
• Computer science or equivalent degree from a top computer science program
• 2+ years working on a consumer facing web product with a high level of scale
• Enthusiasts of the Agile Scrum methodology and MVC frameworks
• Is an A+ player: insists on excellence in everything they do and in everyone with whom they work
• Unafraid of taking smart risks, thrives on chaos and uncertainty
• Intensely driven, proactive, and hard working
• Quick learner and real doer; err on execution over strategy
