Responsibilities

Contribute to design of the architecture and the development of the products and services for our new digital media solution.
Develop tools and processes to reduce operational costs.
Work with other team members to build and maintain a high performance, high availability internet services.
Identify, research, and evaluate tools and technologies to increase operational efficiency.
Provision, administer, and maintain an enterprise data center including web servers, application servers, and databases in a mixed Windows/Linux environment.
Collaborate with researchers, program managers, and product designers in an open, creative environment.
Provide technical leadership and mentor new recruits.

Qualifications

Strong programming (Java/C#/C/C++ or other related programming languages) and scripting skills
Experience building data-driven services and applications
Deep Windows and Linux administration knowledge including Active Directory and LDAP deployment n a 200+ server environment
Ability to diagnose and resolve product, hardware and performance issues independently
Experience with Ruby on Rails deployments desired
Knowledge of Akamai or other CDNs desired
Experience with MySQL and/or SQL Server on a SAN

Education
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related degree.
